Wingstop game day order: how to feed a crowd

Quick answer: Plan about 9 wings per person for a normal meal and 12 for big eaters. For 10 people that is 90 to 120 wings, so a 100-piece order or two group packs covers it. On Wingstop's base menu, 100 classic wings cost $124.99 and 100 boneless cost $102.09.

Plan the order by head count

Game days are the busiest hours at any wing restaurant, so decide the size of your order before you open the app. Our rule of thumb is 6 wings for a light snack, 9 for a meal and 12 for a big appetite. It is our own estimate, not a Wingstop rule.

Prices are reference prices from Wingstop's base menu (Addison, TX, carryout, captured Sept 21, 2026). Your store sets its own prices.

Orders above 100 wings are best split into two orders, which also helps if your store has a quantity limit. Ask the store, or check the official app, before a big game.

Group packs

Group packs bundle wings with sides and dips so you do not have to build the order piece by piece:

  • 15 pc Meal for 2: $27.99 classic, $24.59 boneless
  • 30 pc Crew Pack: $47.99 classic, $40.19 boneless
  • 40 pc Group Pack: $61.59 classic, $52.29 boneless
  • 50 pc Party Pack: $73.79 classic, $62.79 boneless
  • 75 pc Pack: $109.99 classic, $93.49 boneless
  • 100 pc Pack: $140.89 classic, $114.99 boneless

Compare a pack with the same wings bought by the piece before you decide. Our cheapest-way guide does that math.

Pick flavors so everyone eats

A crowd means mixed tastes. A safe spread is one mild flavor, one dry rub, one sweet and one hot. For example: Lemon Pepper and Garlic Parmesan for people who avoid heat, Lemon Pepper for the dry-rub fans, Hickory Smoked BBQ for something sweet and smoky, and Atomic or Mango Habanero for the heat seekers.

Label the hot ones when you set the food out. Heat levels on this site are our editorial scale, not an official Wingstop rating.

Timing and pickup tips

  • Order early. Pre-game and half-time are peak times, and the wait can be longer than the app first says.
  • Choose carryout for big orders if you can. Delivery adds fees and the wings travel longer.
  • Open the bags and vent the boxes on the way home. Trapped steam softens the coating.
  • Hold wings in a 200°F oven on a rack if you need to keep them warm for a while.

Setting up a game-day spread

Put wings in a low oven (around 200°F) to keep them warm, and set out dips and napkins separately. Veggie sticks and a few fries give guests something lighter between wings.

Label the flavors, especially the hot ones, so guests can choose.

Ordering ahead for big orders

Large orders can take longer, so order early and choose a pickup time in the app. Confirm the order is complete before you leave.

Questions about this topic

How many wings should I order for 10 people?

About 90 wings if everyone has a regular meal, so a 100-piece order. On Wingstop's base menu that is $124.99 for classic or $102.09 for boneless. Add a few extras if the group includes big eaters.

Is it cheaper to buy a group pack or wings by the piece?

It depends on the pack. Packs bundle wings with fries, veggie sticks and dips, so they are good value if you want those extras. Compare the pack price with the same number of wings by the piece plus the sides you would add.

What is the best Wingstop order for a watch party?

A large wing order split across 3 or 4 flavors, plus large fries, veggie sticks and a variety of dips. Mix one mild flavor, one dry rub, one sweet and one hot so everyone finds something.

Should I order boneless or classic for a crowd?

Boneless is cheaper per wing and easier to eat while standing, so it works well for parties. Classic has more flavor for wing purists. Many crowds do half and half with a mix and match order.

How many wings for a party?

About 9 to 12 per person for big appetites by our rule of thumb.

Can I order a 100-piece order?

Yes, 100-piece orders are on the base menu.

How do I keep wings warm?

Use a low oven or an insulated cooler lined with towels for short periods.

How many flavors should I get?

Three works well for most groups.
