Which Wingstop Flavor Should I Get? Flavor Finder

Three quick questions and we narrow 15 flavors down to your top three.

Our flavor data covers 15 Wingstop flavors, 13 permanent and 2 limited time. Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, and Plain have no heat, and Atomic is the hottest. Answer three questions below and we match your heat tolerance, sauce or dry rub, and taste direction to your closest three flavors.

1. How much heat?
2. Sauce or dry rub?
3. Taste direction?

We match taste only on words in a flavor's official name or Wingstop's own description. We add no taste words of our own.

Your top 3

4 flavors match every answer you chose. Permanent flavors are listed first, then A to Z.

Only the answers you chose are used; “any” and “no preference” never count as a match. Heat follows Wingstop's published heat order. Calories are from Wingstop's nutrition guide. Where Wingstop has not published a figure we say so.

How to use it

  1. Pick your heat tolerance, from none to hottest. These follow Wingstop's published heat order.
  2. Choose sauce, dry rub or either.
  3. Choose a taste direction if you have one. We only match words that appear in a flavor's official name or Wingstop's own description.
  4. Read your top three, each with heat, type, calories per wing and a link to its page. If nothing fits all three answers, we show the nearest and say what each one misses.

Worked examples

Medium heat, sauce, no taste preference

2 flavors fit exactly. The top three are Original Hot (medium heat, sauce, 90 calories per classic wing) and Spicy Korean Q (medium heat, sauce, 100 calories per classic wing).

A little heat, dry rub, citrusy

The top match is Lemon Pepper (very low heat, dry rub, 120 calories per classic wing). "Citrusy" maps only to flavors whose official name or Wingstop description uses a lemon or citrus word: Lemon Pepper, Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch, and Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze.

Hottest heat, dry rub (no exact match)

Wingstop's hottest flavor, Atomic, is a sauce flavor, so nothing is both the hottest and a dry rub. The tool shows no exact match and lists close options that miss by one step: Atomic (hottest heat, sauce, 90 calories per classic wing) (it is a sauce flavor, not a dry rub) and Cajun (hot heat, dry rub, 90 calories per classic wing) (heat is 1 step below what you chose).

Every example above is run through the same matching code as the tool. We have not tasted these flavors yet, so we describe none.

Flavors by heat level and by type

Sorted by Wingstop's published heat order, from no heat to hottest. Where the order does not list a flavor we say so. Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze is the one exception: its level is our estimate until we update it. This is a list, not a ranking of which is best.

Choosing flavors for a group

Know your flavor limit first

Wingstop caps how many flavors one order can be split across. By the piece, a 10 pc order allows up to 2 flavors, a 30 pc up to 3, a 50 pc up to 4 and a 100 pc up to 6. For 10 or 15 wings you pick two flavors; for a crowd, buy a bigger size and you get more choices.

Include one no-heat option

3 flavors sit at no heat on Wingstop's order: Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, Plain. Putting one of them in every order means anyone who avoids spice still has wings to eat. Plain has no sauce or seasoning, so if you want a flavor, pick one of the other two.

Mix a dry rub and a sauce

Wingstop's dry rubs are not coated in sauce; its sauce flavors are. Taking one of each gives you two different kinds of wing within the same order. The permanent dry rubs are Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey Rub (heat not listed), Louisiana Rub, Cajun. Our dry rub vs sauced wings guide compares the two styles.

Spread the heat using the heat order

For a 30 pc order, which allows 3 flavors, one split that covers a mixed group is Garlic Parmesan (no heat, sauce), Louisiana Rub (medium, dry rub), Atomic (hottest, sauce). That runs from the bottom to the top of Wingstop's heat order and includes both a rub and a sauce. It is our suggestion built from heat levels and styles, not a taste recommendation. Then work out how much to buy with the wing calculator or the budget calculator. For more on heat, see Wingstop flavors by heat level.

How this tool works

Only the answers you choose are used: choosing “Any heat”, “Either” or “No preference” skips that question and never counts as a match. A flavor is an exact match when it meets every answer you chose, and exact matches list permanent flavors before limited-time ones, then A to Z. The tool shows the top 3, with a button to see all matches. When fewer than three match, it adds up to 5 close options, each missing one answer by one step: heat one level away, or the right heat in a different type. Rub plus glaze is its own type, so it never counts as a dry rub or a sauce, but it can appear as a close option for either. Limited-time flavors whose end date has passed are left out.

  • Heat: Wingstop's published heat order, on a 0 to 5 scale. It does not list Hot Honey Rub and Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch, so we show no heat level for them; the finder offers them only when you pick “Any heat”. Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze is the one exception: its level is our estimate until we update it. “A little” covers very low and low.
  • Type: the style label in our flavor data: dry rub, sauce, rub plus glaze, or no sauce.
  • Taste direction: matched only on words in a flavor's official name and, where Wingstop has published one, its own description. Only 4 of the 15 flavors have a Wingstop description in our data (Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey Rub, Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch, and Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze). Citrusy: Lemon Pepper, Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch, and Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze. Savory: no flavor uses the word. Sweet: Hot Honey Rub and Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze. Smoky: Hickory Smoked BBQ. Garlicky: Garlic Parmesan. That means taste filters can only find a few flavors. We have not tasted these flavors yet, so we do not describe how any of them taste.
  • Calories: per classic wing and per boneless piece, copied from Wingstop's nutrition guide dated April 11, 2025. Limited-time flavors are not in that guide, so we say Wingstop hasn't published them.
  • Limits: this is not a popularity ranking. Wingstop does not publish one. Menus and flavor availability change, and stores can differ.

Frequently asked questions

What is the most popular Wingstop flavor?

Wingstop does not publish a flavor sales ranking, so we cannot name an official most popular flavor and we will not guess. Instead of popularity, this finder matches flavors to your heat tolerance, sauce or rub preference and taste direction, using only Wingstop's heat order and its own descriptions.

What's the least spicy Wingstop flavor?

On Wingstop's heat order, Garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, and Plain sit at the bottom with no heat. Garlic Parmesan and Hawaiian are the sauce flavors at that level; Plain has no sauce or seasoning at all. Lemon Pepper is the next step up.

What's the hottest Wingstop flavor?

Atomic is the hottest flavor on Wingstop's published heat order, alone at the top. Cajun and Mango Habanero sit one step below it. Atomic is a sauce flavor, so if you want a dry rub, Cajun is the hottest one we list.

Which Wingstop flavors are dry rubs?

Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey Rub, Louisiana Rub, and Cajun are the permanent dry rubs in our data, and Lemon Pepper Chili Crunch is a limited-time dry rub. Lemon Pepper Chili Glaze is a rub finished with a glaze, its own type, so we do not count it as a dry rub. A dry rub is not coated in sauce.
