Allergen Checker

Wingstop Allergen Checker: Gluten, Dairy, Soy & More

Choose the allergens you avoid and see what Wingstop's own guide lists for every flavor, side and dip.

Important: this is not a safety guarantee.

Shared fryers and kitchens mean cross-contact is possible, and an item with no allergen listed is not “safe” for a medical allergy. Always check Wingstop's official allergen guide and ask the store. Guide used: Wingstop Allergen Guide (PDF, dated August 21, 2025).

Wingstop's allergen guide, dated August 21, 2025, marks 8 allergens across 64 items. Tick the ones you avoid and we show which items do not list them. Wingstop says it does not claim any product is gluten free, and fried foods share one oil, so check the official guide and ask the store.

Allergens to avoid

Wingstop's guide lists wheat, not gluten, and says it does not claim any product is gluten free. Use wheat as the closest listed allergen.

Not a safety guarantee. “Not listed” does not mean allergen-free. Wingstop's guide says “All of our fried foods are cooked in the same oil, though we filter the oil to minimize cross-contamination from wheat. Nevertheless, we do not claim our products are gluten free.” Shared fryers and kitchens mean cross-contact is possible. Always check Wingstop's official allergen guide and ask the store.

Tick one or more allergens on the left to see which items do and do not list them.

How to use it

  1. Tick every allergen you need to avoid. Wingstop's guide lists wheat rather than gluten, so use wheat for gluten questions.
  2. Read the results for each part of the menu: classic wings, boneless wings, crispy tenders, the chicken sandwich, and sides, dips and dessert.
  3. Items under Not listed do not have your allergen marked in Wingstop's guide. Items under Lists show which of your allergens are marked.
  4. Before you order, check Wingstop's official allergen guide and tell the store about your allergy. Recipes and kitchens change.

Worked examples

Avoiding dairy

Classic wings: 12 of 13 (Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey Rub, Louisiana Rub, Cajun, Original Hot, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Hawaiian, Spicy Korean Q, Mango Habanero, Atomic, Plain) do not list dairy; Garlic Parmesan lists it. Boneless wings: all 13. Crispy tenders: all 13. The chicken sandwich: none. In sides and dips, Veggie sticks (celery), Veggie sticks (carrots), Ranch dip, Seasoned fries, Buffalo ranch fries, Louisiana voodoo fries, and Fried corn do not list dairy.

Avoiding wheat (the closest the guide gets to gluten)

Classic wings: 11 of 13 (Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan, Hot Honey Rub, Louisiana Rub, Cajun, Original Hot, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Mango Habanero, Atomic, Plain) do not list wheat; Hawaiian and Spicy Korean Q do. Boneless wings, tenders and the chicken sandwich list wheat for every flavor. Sides and dips without wheat: Veggie sticks (celery), Veggie sticks (carrots), Ranch dip, Honey mustard dip, Cheese sauce, Seasoned fries, Cheese fries, Buffalo ranch fries, Louisiana voodoo fries, and Fried corn. Wingstop says it does not claim any product is gluten free, so treat this as a starting list, not an answer.

Avoiding wheat, dairy and egg together

Classic wings: 10 of 13 (Lemon Pepper, Hot Honey Rub, Louisiana Rub, Cajun, Original Hot, Mild, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Mango Habanero, Atomic, Plain). Boneless wings, tenders and the sandwich: none. Sides and dips: Veggie sticks (celery), Veggie sticks (carrots), Seasoned fries, Buffalo ranch fries, Louisiana voodoo fries, and Fried corn. That is 16 of 64 items in the guide, and the shared-fryer and supplier warnings still apply to each of them.

Every list above is built in code from the same data as the tool: Wingstop's allergen guide dated August 21, 2025, 64 items.

Items that do not list each allergen

For each allergen, the items whose entry in Wingstop's guide does not mark it. “All 13” means every one of the 13 flavors in the guide. For the full matrix, see the Wingstop allergen guide page.

Our lists, built from the guide. “Not listed” is not a promise of safety. Limited-time flavors are not in the guide. Wingstop's guide lists no item with tree nuts or peanuts, and also says suppliers may have them in their facilities.

Ordering with an allergy

This section sticks to what Wingstop's guide and our data say. It is not medical advice. If an allergy could cause a serious reaction, speak to the restaurant first and follow your doctor's guidance.

Start with the official guide, then tell the store

Our lists come from Wingstop's allergen guide dated August 21, 2025. Recipes, suppliers and limited-time flavors change after that date, so open the current guide on Wingstop's site and tell the person taking your order which allergen you need to avoid. Our data holds no Wingstop procedure for allergy orders, such as changing gloves or fryers, so ask the store what it can and cannot do.

The fryer is shared

Wingstop's guide says: “All of our fried foods are cooked in the same oil, though we filter the oil to minimize cross-contamination from wheat. Nevertheless, we do not claim our products are gluten free.” That means a fries item with no allergen listed was still cooked in oil shared with wings, tenders and other fried foods. This is the main reason “not listed” cannot be read as “safe.”

Coatings and sauces change the list

Boneless wings, crispy tenders and the chicken sandwich list wheat for every flavor, while classic (bone-in) wings do not for 11 of 13 flavors. Hawaiian and Spicy Korean Q list wheat on classic wings. 12 of 13 classic flavors list soy; Plain is the only one that does not.

Dips and side items have their own lists

In the guide, Bleu cheese dip lists wheat, dairy, egg, soy, and fish / shellfish; Ranch dip lists egg and soy. These items list dairy: Bleu cheese dip, Honey mustard dip, Cheese sauce, Cheese fries, and Brownie. Check each dip you add, since a dip can list an allergen the wings do not. For the full matrix, see the Wingstop allergen guide page.

Nuts and peanuts

Wingstop's guide lists no item with tree nuts or peanuts, and also says suppliers may have them in their facilities. If you have a nut allergy, ask the store about its suppliers and kitchen.

How this tool works

The checker reads one row per item from Wingstop's Allergen Guide, dated August 21, 2025: 13 flavors across classic wings, boneless wings, crispy tenders and the chicken sandwich, plus sides, dips and dessert, 64 items in all. For each item it checks whether any allergen you ticked is marked, and sorts the item into Not listed or Lists.

  • Allergens: the 8 the guide uses: wheat, dairy, egg, soy, fish / shellfish, tree nut / peanut, sesame, celery. The guide combines fish with shellfish, and tree nuts with peanuts. It lists wheat, not gluten.
  • Not listed: Wingstop did not mark that allergen for the item in the guide. It does not mean the item is free of the allergen, and it ignores shared fryers, shared prep areas and supplier facilities.
  • Not covered: limited-time flavors released after the guide, regional menu differences, and any recipe change since August 21, 2025.
  • Source: Wingstop Allergen Guide (PDF, dated August 21, 2025). We transcribed it by hand into our data. If you spot a difference from the PDF, trust the PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is Wingstop gluten free?

No. Wingstop's guide says its fried foods share the same oil, which it filters to minimize wheat cross-contamination, and adds "we do not claim our products are gluten free." The guide lists wheat, not gluten. Boneless wings, tenders and the sandwich list wheat for every flavor; 11 of 13 classic flavors do not.

Which Wingstop flavors are dairy free?

Wingstop does not label any flavor "dairy free." In its guide, 12 of 13 classic wing flavors do not list dairy; Garlic Parmesan does. The chicken sandwich lists dairy. "Not listed" is not a guarantee, because shared fryers and kitchens can cause cross-contact.

Are Wingstop fries gluten free?

Wingstop does not call them gluten free. Its guide lists no wheat for any of its 4 fries items, but all fried foods share the same oil and Wingstop says it does not claim its products are gluten free. If you have celiac disease, ask the store before ordering.

Does Wingstop use peanut oil?

Wingstop's guide does not say so. It says fried foods are cooked in oil that contains soy, and that its foods do not contain tree nuts or peanuts as ingredients, though suppliers may handle them in their facilities. No item in the guide lists tree nuts or peanuts. Wingstop has not published more than this.
